In the middle of Union Square, San Francisco's top holiday shopping area, stands the towering 83-foot Macy's Christmas Tree, covered in over 33,000 lights. Below sits an ice skating rink larger than the one at Rockefeller Center! Brought to you by Safeway and Alaska Airlines, a generous portion of ticket sales benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, as well as the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department. So take a timeout from shopping, bring the ones you love, and enjoy one of the most memorable holiday events San Francisco has to offer, all in the name of a good cause!
General Admission is $10, for children 8 and under it's $6, and skate rental is $5. The Ice Rink is open daily, 10am-11:30pm (9:30pm on December 31st), through January 21st!
