Featuring demonstrations by land, air and sea, San Francisco Fleet Week is a fun time to be in the city. Taking place from Thursday, October 9 through Monday, October 13, this military spectacle brings thousands of sailors to the city. One of the highlights of the week is the high-flying demonstration by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels team, jet fighters that soar through the sky. You can also watch the parade of ships through San Francisco Bay and under the Golden Gate Bridge. Take tours of ships in harbor, and attend military parties and events throughout the city.
