If you’re looking for something a little different to do this week in San Francisco, head over to the California Academy of Sciences museum for their exciting NightLife event. Each Thursday night, the museum opens its doors so visitors can explore unique exhibits, try out fun activities, enjoy live music and cocktails, and enjoy an adults-only evening of scientific discoveries.
Visit the planetarium for awe-inspiring shows that highlight the universe and mathematical concepts through light, sound and music. Enjoy informative lectures from leading scientists and learn more about plants and animals with Academy staff. Dance the night away to the sounds of local DJs and view short films about the natural world.
For a personalized NightLife experience, sign up for the VIP tour and enjoy a reserved cocktail area, a meet and greet session with Academy researchers, a behind-the-scenes tour, priority access to the Rainforest, and reserved passes for the planetarium show.
NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences is open to visitors age 21 and over every Thursday night from 6pm-10pm. Tickets for NightLife are $12 per person. VIP tour tickets are $59 per person and are offered on a limited basis.
