Celebrate the art of the silver screen at Frameline 39, San Francisco's premier LGBT film festival. Taking place from June 18 through 28, the event kicks off with an Opening Night Reception and continues with 11 days of screenings. Showcasing the diverse communities across a cinemascape of socially relevant art, this festival celebrates and unites through innovation in storytelling. Discover your new favorite director, and meet likeminded movie enthusiasts in the queer cinema community. You'll find movies at various venues in San Francisco and environs, including the Castro Theatre, Roxie Theater, Victoria Theatre, Rialto Cinemas Elmwood (in Berkeley) and Landmark's Piedmont Theatre (in Oakland). Expect to see a diverse selection of narrative films, documentaries, shorts and everything else. Featured films of Frameline 39 include:
