Fourth of July in San Francisco
Varied and unique, the Fourth of July events in San Francisco are not to be missed. In addition to stunning fireworks displays, free museum day, exciting cruises and, of course, unparalleled parades and festivals make San Francisco an incredible place to celebrate Independence Day. Experience the Exploratorium’s interactive science exhibits for free, and watch fireworks from Pier 39! Pier 39 has one of the biggest, and it’s visible from the bay, multiple cruise options, and even some area parks.
Otherwise, go watch the San Francisco Symphony’s Fireworks Spectacular at the Shoreline Amphitheatre or head over to Sausalito for an old fashioned parade and fair followed by live music and that city’s fireworks. No matter where you are in Marin County and the Bay Area, there’s something truly exciting to do for any age, taste or budget on July 4th.
