Cosmic Nightlife at the California Academy of Sciences is Out of This World

Looking for something to do that's out of this world, yet in the heart of San Francisco? Cosmic Nightlife at the California Academy of Sciences could be just the ticket. On October 22nd, be dazzled and delighted at drinks, eats and all sorts of extraterrestrial, planetary encounters.

Get educated with talks by experts like Scientist Dan Werthimer who ponders the question: when will we find other intelligent life and how long will it take us to reach them?

While you're there, check out the Osher Rainforest, Color of Life; and Whales: Giants of the Deep - exhibits at the Academy not to be skipped or forgotten! You can also watch Dark Universe, narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson, with wonder and get down to disco in the Coral Reef.

After traveling through all of that space, you're probably going to work up a thirst and an appetite? No worries. NightLife will be open from 6-9:30 pm, serving up eats and drinks from The Academy Cafe and The Terrace. Sip seasonal "craft on draft" libations by master mixologist Shane McKnight!

When it's time to return to earth, come back to King George Hotel, have a nightcap at Winston's and call it a night!
