2014 San Francisco Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Valencia Street, Mission District
Saturday, May 3rd, 2014
Celebrate Mexican heritage and pride with your closest friends and loved ones at the 2014 the San Francisco Cinco de Mayo celebration. This family focused, alcohol-free event is held every year on Valencia Street – one of the Mission’s trendiest and main avenues. The celebration will highlight the best of Latin and Mexican American cultures with a diverse collection of Mexican and Latino music, foods, dance and arts and crafts for the whole family to enjoy. Nearly 10,000 people will enjoy history and rich cultural activities designed to empower the San Francisco community through education and awareness.
The event will be held from 10 am to 6pm and include a variety of local artists performing on Entertainment Corner near 21st Street and the Main Stage near 23rd Street. Stroll the streets and enjoy delicious food and beverages, shop for arts and crafts, and check out the Kid’s Zone with a petting zoo, face painting, balloon art, magic tricks and Spunky the Clown.
