One year after the historic and poignant Stonewall riots began in New York in 1969, the first Pride marches were held across the country-in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. San Francisco's long and storied LGBT history continues in 2014 with the 44th Annual Pride Celebration and Parade, which takes place on June 28th and 29th. This year's theme is "Color Our World With Pride."
