King George Hotel Supports the Taji 100
The King George Hotel is a proud partner of the Taji 100. The Taji 100 is fitness challenge and fundraiser throughout the month of February in which participants have a goal of achieving 100 miles in 28 days either by walking, hiking, jogging, running on the treadmill or using the elliptical. All proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
The Taji 100 began in 2010 and is named after the city in Iraq where the event originated on a military base with the goal of keeping the troops active and improving their morale. When their deployment was completed, soldiers that had participated in the original Taji 100 brought the event stateside in 2011 and began to use it as a fundraiser.
To participate, please visit to register and donate to the Wounded Warrior Project. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to cause. We are happy to announce that many King George Hotel employees have participated in the Taji 100 and plan to continue to support the cause this year.
